These were made by piercing a design into metal.  The scraps of the piercing were melted down with additional sterling remnants and rolled into sheet.  The pierced design was then imprinted with a textured bit of organic material and reshaped to sit flat.  Finally, the rolled sheet was cut in two and pressed with the textured piercing to create mirroring images.  These images were pierced out, formed, textured again on the reverse side, and suspended from handmade wires.  Pinned fringe swings freely below.
