A fascinating pair of K2 gemstones in mirroring cuts feature bright pockets of pool blue Azurite in a dynamic granite matrix. Found at the base of Mount Godwin Austen near the border of Pakistan and China, this stone is rare and often mistaken as being either a type of Jasper or otherwise treated with blue dye. K2 is, however, completely natural and takes on a beautiful polish when cut and shaped. Our stones are exactly that- high quality, flat backed cabs, ready for your next unique design.
Please note that while we do our absolute best to accurately capture the color of these gems, it is the nature of natural stones to change hue based on the light source, ranging from muted and milky to bright and vibrant. These photos were taken using a Nikon D7200 and a DEEP brand light box. You are receiving the exact stones pictured in this listing.
